New turnstiles for Mosmetro at the Delovoy Tsentr station
Infomatika continues to implement a large-scale project to modernize the turnstile infrastructure of the Moscow Metro. On June 16, 2026, the new generation M2030 smart turnstiles were installed at the Delovoy Tsentr metro station, where the existing turnstile complex is being gradually replaced.
As part of the first phase, eight new generation turnstiles have already been put into operation at the station. Once the commissioning and equipment installation are completed, the total number of turnstiles will be 17.
The M2030 smart turnstiles support all modern payment methods, including bank cards, the Troika transport card, the virtual Troika, the SBP, QR codes, and biometric services. To enhance passenger convenience, the devices feature improved lighting indicators and a unique vibration response feature designed to assist visually impaired users. The compact design of the smart turnstiles will increase the station's capacity by up to 40%, allowing passengers to pass through the entrance faster during peak hours.
"Passengers already have the opportunity to try out the new equipment at the Business Center metro station. The installation is carried out without blocking the passageway, so that residents of the capital can continue to use the station as usual. The same approach will be applied in the future," said Maksim Liskutov.
In 2026, innovative turnstiles will be installed at 25 stations of the Moscow Metro. This modernization project will be one of the largest passenger infrastructure implementations in the world's metros and will set a new technological standard for urban transportation.
